Lupus Awareness Ride & Breakfast

Join Ray of Light MCC for a meaningful morning of motorcycles, awareness, support, and community as we ride in purple for Lupus.

This event is inspired by Sancia, a Lupus Warrior, with the aim of creating awareness and building a stronger platform of support for others affected by Lupus.

Meet: 06:45 – 07:00
KSU: 07:15
Start: Superspar Zambesi, next to China Mall
Destination: Kitty Hawk Aerodrome Restaurant

Buffet Breakfast: 08:30 – R180 per person (to be paid in advance)
Includes bottomless coffee
Limited to 80 pre-bookings
A la carte menu available from 09:00
Bar opens from 10:00

  • 08:15 – Arrival at Kitty Hawk
  • 08:30 – Buffet breakfast served to pre-booked guests
  • 09:00 onwards – A la carte menu available
  • 08:00 – 13:00 – Live radio and music with Chris Batts from Radio Hi 5 Stereo
  • 08:00 onwards – Stalls, awareness engagement, photo opportunities,
  • WRWR baton passing, and general social gathering
  • 10:00 onwards – Bar opens for alcoholic beverages
  • 10:00 onwards – Guest entertainment / live performance
  • 11:00 – 12:00 – Raffle and prize giving
  • Throughout the morning – Lupus awareness engagement, medical information sharing, and community support
